If you sell at agility trials like I do, you already know: border collie owners are a breed apart. They show up to the trial site at 6 a.m. with a thermos in one hand, a tug toy in the other, and strong opinions about contact obstacles. When they see a tumbler or a tee…
My boxer Tank is 70 pounds of pure couch potato. He drools on my cutting mat, knocks over my vinyl rolls, and stares at me with those wrinkled jowls like I personally insulted his ancestors. He is also, without question, the best salesman I have ever had. The moment I started putting his face —…
If you sell dog-mom shirts at a farmers market or on Etsy, you already know that Yorkie customers are a breed apart. They are obsessive, loyal, and they will absolutely buy the same design in three colorways if you tell them it matches their pup’s topknot. I know because I am one of them —…
Daisy is seven pounds of silver-and-tan attitude, and the second I started putting her face on tumblers, my Nashville booth traffic doubled. I am not exaggerating. People walking past would stop mid-stride, squint at my display, and say “wait, is that a Yorkie?” — and that moment of recognition is worth more than any product…
Luna is fawn, smooth-coated, and absolutely convinced that if she loses sight of me for more than thirty seconds, something terrible is going to happen. I’ve been making fur-mom apparel out of my spare bedroom in Tampa since 2022, and chihuahua mom designs are the reason my Etsy shop went from a slow hobby to…
Okay, let me tell you how Pepito changed my Etsy shop. He’s my long-haired chihuahua — four pounds, maximum drama, runs this house with an iron paw — and the second I started making chihuahua designs specifically for my Latina dog-mom customers in San Antonio, my sales jumped by about 40 percent in one quarter….
I’ve been doing sublimation out of my Columbus garage for going on four years now, and I can tell you with zero hesitation that corgi butts sell mugs. That squat little behind — stubby legs, ridiculous fluff, zero apologies — hits some primal funny bone in the buying public that I genuinely did not anticipate…
I’ve been running my Cricut shop out of our spare bedroom in Fort Collins for three years now, and corgis have become the spine of my entire product line. It started because of Pixel and Mochi — my two dogs, a five-year-old red-and-white and a two-year-old tricolor who believes she is the center of the…
I’ve been doing tumblers and vinyl out of my craft room in Boise, Idaho for about four years now, and pug designs have been a quiet goldmine the whole time. My sister has two pugs named Pretzel and Biscuit, which is basically how I got pulled into this niche — she kept asking me to…
I make custom pet shirts out of my spare bedroom in Savannah, Georgia, and pug orders have been my most requested breed for the past eighteen months. My own pug, Biscuit, is a four-year-old fawn boy who sits on my lap while I scroll through Cricut Design Space, and I’m pretty sure the people who…
